Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Communication Faculty, Department of Cinema – TV students’ short films that were prepared within the scope of graduation projects met with the audience.
Academic staff members and students show great interest in the gala organized as a part of graduation projects mentored by Vice-Chair of Cinema-TV Department, Ahmet Goran.
The opening speech of the event was made by the Head of Cinema-TV Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bahire Özad. During the speech, Özad stated her excitement and joy on watching the short films prepared by the students. Vice-Chair of EMU Cinema-TV Department, Ahmet Goran also thanked all who has contributed to the projects.
A Variety of Short Films Were Screened
15 short films that were screened in the gala were as follows: “A – B Dedik” (Fırat Uslu), “Geç Kaldım” (Yağmur Çelik), “Kırmızı Başlıklı Kız” (Ali Merdan Doğan), “Koltuk” (M. Hürrem Kütay), “Fatura Mı Bedel Mi?” (Beste Özdağ), “Bekleyiş” (Mehmet Öztanburi), “Bumerang” (Berkay Özcan), “Sinyal Yok” (Gökberk Özalan), “Sosyal Deney’im” (Şebnem Ali), “Gel – Git” (Mehmet Teoman Sadıkoğlu), “Ters Yön” (Serdar Öden), “Check – In” (Tahsin Cellaloğulları), “Buluşma” (Mustafa Seymen), “Döngü” (İbrahim Can Köse), “Çark” (Merve Pöze).
A cocktail was held after the film screenings. The event ended with a group photo shoot.
